James at Rangers for Another Year

Rangers have signed their first forward of the summer, academy prospect James Graham, who has put pen to paper on a new contract.

James has signed a contract extension with Rangers FC that will see him stay at the SPL club until the end of the 2023/24 season. The 18-year-old has been a regular in the B team this year and will now look to play a more prominent role with the departure of Juan Alegria and Zak Lovelace pushing for a promotion to the first team.

According to Rangers News, ‘making the step up from the academy to the first team is harder for a striker than any other position but Graham has attracted a lot of high level interest’.

James, who is a graduate of Back FC’s Development Club, joined Rangers from Ross County in June 2020.
